Prospector Capital Upsizes IPO 20% to $300M

Prospector Capital offered 5 million units more than anticipated to raise its IPO from $250 million to $300 million.

The SPAC plans to focus on companies involved in advanced communications, applications and services (such as 5G), cloud and edge computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented and virtual reality (AR / VR), disruptive transport technologies and computer vision. 

Prospector Capital is led by two former executives of Qualcomm.

Units begin trading today on the Nasdaq under PRSRU. The offer is expected to close Jan. 12. Read more.
