Empowerment & Inclusion Capital I Prices Upsized $240M IPO

Empowerment & Inclusion Capital I announced the pricing of its IPO of 24 million units at a price of $10.00 per unit. The upsize represents a 20 percent increase from the SPAC’s initial plan to raise $200 million.

The SPAC seeks to acquire a diverse-led business or a business focused on promoting an inclusive economy and society. The SPAC is sponsored by PNC Investment Capital and Jefferies Financial Group.

Units begin trading today on the NYSE under EMPR.U. The offer is expected to close Jan. 12. Read more.
