Big Rock Partners Acquisition in a preliminary proxy set a shareholder vote for Dec. 18 on whether to grant the SPAC an extension on its merger deadline. Big Rock is asking shareholders to vote for an extension to April 23 to complete a business combination. The meetign agenda also includes a proposal for an early wind up of the SPAC and redemption of all shares if the board of directors determines a deal cannot be closed by the extended deadline.
