SPAC IPO

The Asia-focused SPAC has not cited any specific sectors it may target, but will not do a deal with companies based in China, Hong Kong or Macau.

Oak Woods intends to target high-growth technology companies in the Asia-pacific region that are engaging in the public and private healthcare, medical services and technology-enabled healthcare services sectors.

The offering was downsized from 6.5 million units originally registered in September with the SEC.

The tech-focused SPAC has said it will target companies in the IoT (Internet of Things) space.

Sponsored by Austin-based SilverBox Capital, the SPAC will target businesses with an aggregate value of $750 million or more.

The Asia-focused SPAC initially registered the offering with the SEC in September 2020, which at the time was expected to include 4 million units.

The SPAC plans to focus on companies engaged in AI and any other related technology innovations market operating businesses.

The tech-focused SPAC is based in Honolulu.

The biotech-focused SPAC was formed by Bellevue Capital Management.

The SPAC in regulatory filings has said it is not focused on any particular sector or industry, but will exclude any business operating in China, including Hong Kong and Macau.
