Zanite Acquisition said its sponsor intends to purchase an additional 2.3 million private placement warrants to extend the SPAC’s merger deadline until May 19.
An aggregate of $2.3 million will be deposited into the SPAC’s trust account by Nov. 19. This is the SPAC’s second deadline extension.
Zanite in June confirmed it had been in discussions with Brazil-based Eve Urban Air Mobility, although no progress appears to have been made, based on a review of the SPAC’s regulatory filings since then. Zanie raised $230 million in an IPO a year ago this month. Read more.
