Ascendant Mobility Acquisition I Files for $350M IPO

Ascendant Mobility Acquisition I registered with the SEC to offer 35 million units at $10 each. A unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-third of one redeemable warrant; whole warrants exercisable at $11.50.

The new SPAC plans to target businesses in the electric vehicle, energy storage and distribution, or mobility technologies ecosystem.

Ascendant Mobility I is led by Co-CEO Peter Bardenfleth-Hansen, whose executive experience includes almost 10 years at Tesla, and Co-CEO Jochen Rudat, whose nearly 25 years of experience in the mobility industry includes almost a decade working for Tesla in Europe.

The SPAC intends to apply for a NYSE listing but has not yet selected a ticker symbol. Read more.
