Plum Acquisition I Files for $300M IPO

Plum Acquisition I filed with the SEC to offer 30 million units at $10 each to raise $300 million for the acquisition of a business “with distinct Machine Learning and AI-driven advantages to create new markets and disrupt existing ones,” according to the S-1 form.

Plum is led by Executive Chairwoman and Director Ursula Burns, who most recently served as chairwoman and CEO of VEON Ltd. Prior to VEON, Burns was the CEO of Xerox from 2010 to 2016 and is the first, and still only, African-American woman to have led an S&P 500 company.

The SPAC intends to apply for a Nasdaq listing under PLMI U. Read more.
