New York-based Monteverde law firm said it is investigating Star Peak Energy Transition relating to its proposed merger with Stem in a transaction valued at approximately $1.35 billion.
The investigation focuses on whether Star Peak Energy and its board “violated securities laws and/or breached their fiduciary duties to the Company by 1) failing to conduct a fair process, and 2) whether and by how much this proposed transaction undervalues the company,” the law firm said.
